Hybrid SFC System

The SFC Hybrid system crosses the divide between analytical SFC and preparative SFC, offering the best of both techniques. With flow rates from 1 mL/min up to 20mL/min this system can be used with 4.6mm columns for high quality analytical separations and with 10mm columns for excellent sample isolation and purification.

Analytical to Semi-Preparative Flow Rates

Using columns from 4.6 to 10 mm ID, the Hybrid SFC System can be used for separation and purification  of up to several 100 mg of sample material.

Wide Range of Detectors

Wide range of detectors including UV-Visible, PDA, Mass Spec, ELSD,  FID and CD (circular dichroism for chiral applications).  For applications that require the utmost sensitivity, JASCO has designed the first high pressure flow cell designed for the FP-4020 fluorescence detector making it compatible with SFC.

External Software control

HPLC modules are often used for non-HPLC applications, such as high accuracy feed pumps or stand-alone detectors for monitoring flow and reactors. For unattended operation RS-232 remains a convenient method for control and monitoring, using a simple communication protocol that can be included with each module.
