→ Originally developed for FTIR microscopy, SliceMaster is a line of compact precision cutting tools that can also be used for any variety of applications requiring extremely thin sample sections, such as packaging materials, films, laminates or pellets. The SliceMaster is an economical tool that can repeatably slice thin sections without damaging samples.
The most versatile slicer with adjustable angles from vertical to 45°. Ideal for exposing the surface of multilayer laminates for FTIR microscopic imaging and measurement.
The HS-1 can cut samples with a fixed angle of 90°with a thickness that can be cut depends on the composition and hardness.
The HK-1 Fixed 15º angle slicer is used for cutting films and laminates to leave a wide exposed surface with up to 4 times the surface area compared to a 45° section. Includes removable sample holder.
The multi-angle Pellet Slicer (TabletMaster) includes a special holder to carefully grip irregular sized objects, such as pharmaceutical tablets, seeds, caplets and pellets.
The sample is held so that the blade can be angled to cut an exposed surface flat or to shave thin sections.
